Bathroom Remodeling This powder room was part of the kitchen remodel done in a 100 year old home. Since it is located off the kitchen, the challenge was to make it not feel like a bathroom nor let it become an overly matched part of the kitchen.
The client started some redecorating of the bathroom and soon realized that “redecorating” wasn’t enough. The bathroom needed to be brought up to date with new fixtures, tile, and flooring. Changing the “curtained” shower-tub area into one with full-view glass doors opened the space to let more natural light flood the room and eliminate the dark, cramped feeling from the 70’s.
A new vanity with drawers and a bump out sink area created much more space in this newly updated bathroom without removing or changing the original structure of the room.
